Buddy Rhodes Concrete Products manufactures a concrete product which has been widening its market over the last fifteen years to include indoor and outdoor floor tiles, pre-cast counters for kitchen and bath, sinks and tubs, surrounds and architectural elements cast to suit individual projects. The product is entirely handmade and colored.

Customers who choose concrete are seeking an alternative to the polish of granite and marble, the antiseptic coolness of plastic products such as Corian and Formica, and the grout lines of repeated ceramic tiles. These customers appreciate the warmth and handmade appearance, as a pottery collector enjoys the look of a hand thrown bowl. They understand that no tile or slab surface is identical to another. Color and texture vary somewhat with each casting.

Concrete Counter Mix

Buddy Rhodes Concrete Mix is a refined combination of sand, cement and our own special ingredients that have given Buddy’s pre-cast concrete its unique quality and success rate for over 20 years. Unlike any other mix, Buddy’s concrete countertop mix recipe is specifically designed to be malleable, smooth, colorable, dense and very strong, combining the durability of concrete with the fine surface required for concrete countertops and other interior design. Buddy Rhodes Concrete Counter Mix can be cast directly on the cabinets with a prepared sub top or cast upside down in molds for a pressed finish. View the photo gallary here.

Concrete Counter Coloring

The Buddy Rhodes Counter mix can be used as a bone white color right out of the bag, or it can be colored with the 14 available colors. When using the pressed technique of fabrication, voids can be filled with the same color as the mix, or an accenting color for a truly unique look.

Color Paste

Buddy Rhodes Concrete Color Paste is formulated to match all Buddy Rhodes Concrete Liquid Colors. The paste is used as a slurry to fill the voids in Buddy Rhodes' signature veined finish. Voids in the concrete countertop may be filled with matching or one or more contrasting colors.

Penetrating Sealer

Buddy Rhodes Natural Look Penetrating Sealer is a remarkable deep penetrating sealer specifically designed for maximum protection against oils and water based stains on concrete countertops in eating food preparation areas. Intended for interior and exterior use.

This concrete countertop sealer is an aqueous copolymer chemically reactive dispersion that provides a durable, transparent protective barrier. This new chemistry offers invisible protection to both dense and porous concrete countertop surfaces and is extremely effective as a water sealer.

Buddy Rhodes Concrete Products Natural Look Penetrating Sealer provides a "matte" finish rather than a"satin" finish and does not change the color in the concrete countertop surface. You may use the Penetrating Sealer under the Satin Sealer and Beeswax.

Satin Sealer

Buddy Rhodes Concrete Products Satin Concrete Sealer can be used on all concrete countertop and masonry surfaces, exposed aggregate, stamped and colored concrete, natural and manufactured stone brick and concrete paver tiles. It is ideal in any cooking, eating or food preparation area to protect concrete countertop surfaces against stains caused by food or beverage spills. (Not recommended for marble, granite, porcelain and terrazzo.)

This concrete countertop sealer is the latest in water-based acrylic microemulsion technology for concrete countertops. Buddy Rhodes Concrete Products Satin Concrete Sealer creates a barrier coating that seals, protects, and beautifies the surface while enhancing the natural beauty of the concrete. This concrete countertop sealer also resists most stain up to 72 hours. However, oils and solvents should be wiped away as soon as possible.

The Buddy Rhodes Concrete Products Satin Sealer will provide a "satin" finish rather than a "high gloss" sheen. You may use the Satin Sealer and Beeswax on top of the Penetrating Sealer.

Food Grade Beeswax

Buddy Rhodes Concrete Products food grade Beeswax helps prevent stains from oil and water based products on concrete countertops and other concrete surfaces. The Beeswax will penetrate the surface of the concrete countertop and enhance the color.

Reusable Edge Forms

These four edge profiles are made from 1/4" extruded plastic. They are made to be clamped on to the cabinet for molding the edge of cast-in-place countertops, and the forms may be reused many times.

Sink Molds

Buddy Rhodes has designed four Sink Molds for use with his concrete countertop mix for pre-casting integral vanity, kitchen or utility sinks. Each fiberglass sink mold may be used many times and comes with a standard sized rubber drain knock-out. These are the same high quality molds Buddy uses in his factory. Matching standard sizes used in residential applications, they are tested for years of repeated use.

Designed to take advantage of the unique qualities of the Buddy Rhodes premier concrete countertop mix, these reusable fiberglass molds bring Buddy's unique designs to the concrete & masonry contractor, turning every contractor into an artisan. Diamond Polishing Kit

The ultimate polishing system for concrete countertops, these pads can tame the hardness of concrete & produce a luster formerly reserved for marble. The polishing kit contains (8) 5" diamond impregnated resin pads of graduated grits. The pads are designed to be used in sequence with a Q.R.S. backed flexible head attached to a water-fed polisher. Included in the kit are 50, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1500, 3000, & Buff grits.

Buddy Rhodes - Perles ME 140 Mixer

Buddy Rhodes Concrete Products has teamed with Perles of Switzerland to supply the ideal mixer for fabricating concrete countertops. The mixer base harnesses a powerful 10.4 Amp motor with two gears & a variable speed trigger. One mixing paddle for concrete & mortar type mixes is included.
